Library

Welcome to the Temple Beth Abraham Libraries!

We have two well-stocked, updated libraries where you can stay and read, borrow books to take home, or form study groups and book-clubs with your friends.

Levine Synagogue Library (in the synagogue building) holds adult level books of many topics an interests – from fiction to Torah, Kabbalah,  holidays, spirituality, history and more!

Jason Schenker Children’s Library (in the Jewish Education Center) has hundreds of picture books on Jewish topics such as Torah, holidays, Jewish values and Holocaust, as well as young-adult novels, picture books and many books in Hebrew!

These curated collections contain over 2,000 books!

Book Donation Policy:
We are grateful for donations of books to our libraries. Please keep in mind that the libraries already have core collections and desire only recently published titles (typically published within the past three years).
We also reserve the option to decline a donation of materials because of duplication, condition, or dated information.

We are interested in your support for acquiring new books for both the libraries! Please refer to the Amazon wish lists:

To make a monetary donation to either library, click here to make a donation, select “General Donation” from the drop-down menu, and write “for library” in the payment-notes field.

To dispose of books containing Hebrew words that require the book to be buried, please contact Rabbi Jon.
