Part of the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund is set aside for individual assistance without red tape for people in and out of our Jewish community. The fund has helped people make utility or medical payments, file for or renew professional licenses, and meet other immediate needs. All conversations and payments are confidential between the individual and the rabbi. If you have a need, please do not hesitate to contact Rabbi Jon by e-mail or phone.
If you have a larger financial need, Rabbi Jon can link you with the appropriate local agency and work with them, and connect you also with the Jewish Federation of New Hampshire’s social service program.
If you would like to make a donation to the fund, you can do so online here or send a check to the Temple office made out to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund. Donations made for the purpose of individual are tracked separately from other uses of the fund. The tzedakah box at the daily evening minyan is used for this purpose as well.
