Yedidim in the time of social distancing:

Friends, we've worked hard over the past three years to build a vibrant community of young families here in Southern New Hampshire, and now the unique opportunity has arisen to grow our community in a new way.  Social distancing demands that we stay at home, but remember that YOU ARE NOT ALONE.  We are trying different online experiments for enriching our community, beginning with the Yedidim Young Families Facebook group.  If you haven't already, please join us:

On Facebook we have compiled resources to help you through this trying time, and we're supporting one another virtually as best we can. For ease of controlling and consolidating information flow, as well as for the purposes of enriching our community, please know that I'm streamlining my communication and reaching out solely thought Facebook at this time.  This means that you will not receive email from Yedidim, but you WILL hear from me exclusively through Facebook - please join us as soon as you can!  Facebook was created with social networking in mind, and will promote the kind of interaction we need right now.

Please know, however, that I am always reachable at and by phone.  If there is anything that you need from me or the community, please reach out.  Rabbi Jon is also available at

I send you all deep love and support, and can't wait to see you again and give you a huge hug.

Jessie Mocle

In Hebrew, Yedidim means “friends.” At Temple Beth Abraham (TBA for short) in Nashua, you will find that families with children, from newborn through thirteen, get together often. We gather to celebrate the journey of raising Jewish children in New Hampshire. Our mishpacha (“family”) has families of all shapes and sizes. If you are Jewish, interfaith, Jew by choice, or considering Judaism, you are welcome here. We laugh, we cry, we read stories, we make lots of messes, and we have lots of fun.

Whether you join us on Sundays for family Sunday School or at one of our in-home events, we look forward to meeting you and calling you a friend, too. We always have room for one more, and lots of wet wipes.

If you have questions you can reach Jessie Mocle, Family Engagement and Yedidim Director, with any questions or comments:
