Sarit Tsor Ferreira, Director of Education and Community Engagement

As a Jewish educator, Sarit loves finding relevant and exciting ways to engage children and their families in Jewish experiences. She believes that Judaism can guide us toward becoming the best versions of ourselves – that it is a way of being. Sarit is especially interested in experiential and self-directed learning, through which learners of any age can explore what is most meaningful to them.  Sarit has experience with teaching and guiding staff in Project Based Learning, Torah Godly Play, and incorporating games as a tool for more effective and enjoyable Hebrew language instruction.

At Temple Beth Abraham, Sarit has been working to redefine Jewish education by creating the Jewish Education Center of Nashua at the 5 Raymond Street building. The Center is currently offering Sunday programs for children ages preschool to 7th grade, and soon will offer teen engagement and programs for other age groups as well.

In her role of Director, Sarit also manages the Temple's communications and young family engagement.
