Among us all in the Jewish community, we have experienced and continue to experience mourning, illness, financial difficulties, family challenges, isolation and many stresses. We are committed as Beth Abraham to mobilizing as much mutual support as possible, and to making helpful resources available.

A Message from Rabbi Jon Spira-Savett  & President David Sacks

We realize that each of us deals with stress and risk against the backdrop of our own story. Many of us have worries or anxieties that all the talk about coronavirus aggravates or makes harder. You may feel overwhelmed by all the information and guidance that is coming from many directions. If you are having a particularly hard time, now or as this may unfold, know that you can call on the rabbi for support anytime, and if you need other resources he can direct you.

We all should be thinking about people we know who might not have a lot of connections to family or friends in the area. This is an important time to reach out and make sure they are safe, healthy, and have the basic things they need.

If you know someone who you are worried about, now is the time to reach out and connect with a phone call or a note. If you are particularly worried about someone, call the rabbi.

The health and safety of our congregants and staff is our top priority. We are committed to making sure that we are continually updating our preparedness measures and planning regarding health risks associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Connecting Through the Synagogue
We are meeting every single day on Zoom at least once. We have some in-person activities in small groups for children and adults in line with Covid-19 safety guidelines. Check our calendar for everything going on for all ages.

If you're feeling isolated and are looking for some regular or periodic one-to-one conversation, a lot of us are looking for that and many people are interested in talking to each other every week or two, or even more frequently. Connect through Rabbi Jon or anyone on the staff or committees and we're happy to help you make some new connections.

Comments or Questions:
Please send all comments or questions regarding preparedness measures and planning directly to security@tbanashua.org.

We will continue to address the impact of this outbreak on our community. Together we can best support our sacred community.

Thank You
Rabbi Jon Spira-Savett
